Kofi Genfi is a Ghanaian-American author and multi-faceted artist who began his artistry through spoken-word, poetry and motivational talks in his home-state of New Jersey. Genfi has since performed his original works nationally and internationally at universities, conferences, and numerous school districts. Most notably, Kofi delivered the commencement address to his high school graduation ceremony.
The Senate and General Assembly of the State of New Jersey honor Kofi Genfi as a highly esteemed member of his community. This prestigious accolade recognized Kofi Genfi, a member of Sayreville War Memorial High School’s Class of 2007, as one of the school’s most illustrious graduates and acknowledges his exemplary history of service, leadership and achievement. He is the youngest Sayreville War Memorial High School Hall of Fame Inductee, proud graduate from the School of Engineering at Rutgers University and a member of Iota Phi Theta Fraternity, Incorporated.
Genfi works for Accenture, one of the leading Management Consulting & IT firms in the world. He specializes in change management and training for the State of Texas, State of Ohio and State of Pennsylvania. In addition to supporting executive leadership sell new business to prospective clients, he assists Accenture’s inclusion and diversity recruiting efforts. Genfi is passionate about creating a bridge that connects corporate opportunities to economically disadvantaged communities. He aspires to leave an indelible mark on the way in which the world discusses social justice, financial literacy and self-empowerment.
